The beginning steps of assembling the world of Project Star FIsh


The first thing I wanted to do was to get an environment set up that perfectly matched the overall tone I was going for with Project Starfish. I found the perfect assets created by "So Stylized" on the Unreal Marketplace that were exactly what I was wanting.
After putting together a basic landscape I setup the RVT's and started assembling the terrain. After painting on some trees and adding in a beautiful waterfall I wanted to add to the aesthetic by adding in a stylized Day/Night Cycle.
The next addition was putting together a simple firefly FX system using Unreal's Niagara System.
And with all that setup I feel ready to get coding!
